So I just bought Skyrim.

Currently installing Steam.

Fuck yeah, bro.

Problem though. When it says updating Steam, it then changes and says I have to connect to the internet.

No fucking shit.

I haven't used Steam before so I wouldn't really know.

Great. Now I can't do bullshit with it and I spent sixty dollars on it.

Oh the worst part about steam based games... I had Supreme Commander for almost a year before I could play because of the internet. I really feel your pain man. I do.

Huh, you need to play Steam? I got it for the PS3 and it started up just fine. I'm going to actually play it today, maybe spend a few more hours on character customization...I don't know. XD

The Pc version uses Steam because it is more information than a single DVD can hold with out good compression rates. Which raises loading time and makes updating harder.

A Bluray Disc can hold alot more than a DVD so it can all fit on the PS3 version.

Xbox360 has fancy triple layer DVDs or something that I know little about.

I've seen screenies of orcs, and they look fuckin' awesome.

Lol, Steam works fine for me, game updated and installed fine, etc.

PC Skyrim actually has shorter loading times then console Skyrim copies, thus why I went for the PC version over the PS3 version, plus I was impatient so I just downloaded it fast.

Go to the Steam forums or customer support to help get it fixed. Steam has worked great for me for a year or two now, so you are just having bad luck. Talk to someone to get it fixed.

See, Steam has had glitches where it is weird for a day or two, but it is server side and it works later. If you have to wait a year to play a certain game, you should be talking to customer support. This is to anyone that does get a game on Steam and it gives them trouble.

Most of that though was my internet, not the Steam program. Then my computer started acting up until I bought a new one. Now I can play it all the time...

So, any of you been infected with vampirism yet?

I definitely don't want to. It seems like more of a hassle than it's worth, in my opinion.

My brother got vampirism and it basically sucks. The abilities are nice, but it gives a 75% weakness to fire after not feeding for three or four days, your hp and stamina (maybe magicka) are cut down like crazy in the sun and they don't regenerate in the sun either.

Personally, I'm content with my werewolf-mage.

EDIT: Oh, something I found funny is that I read about people complaining that it took hours for them to get infected with vampirism, but my brother got it in about two seconds.

Oh God that's funny. I remember my Argonian got infected, but because I was a noob back when playing Oblivion I didn't know that I had to sleep to actually develop vampirism, so nothing happened. XD

Agh. So far I've been attacked by like three skeletons. All at once.

And I surviveddddd.

I feel like I should be doing something more important or I'm missing out on something though. WELP.

Derpderp. I'm like level 28 'cause I've been playing since it came out and I leveled smithing/illusion like a pro and gained like 12 levels.
