Mary Sue Test

Here is a very useful test to see how "Suish" your characters are. Not to say anyone here creates an excess of Mary Sues, but everyone can still benefit from this test.

I know, right? I'm proud of myself; my schizophrenic character scored a 2. Muaha.

I've taken that one! It's rather good, though I have heard that in some cases when certain fantasy things are the norm characters can get a higher score than usual.

Almost all of my Exalted characters were off the charts. "Can he shape shift?" "Well yeah, but he's a Lunar. That's a class feature "

"Does he not get hurt often? (minor cuts and whatnot)" "It's a magic artifact, and it was the GM's idea! Maybe I shouldn't be applying this test to this game..."

I got -11 for one of my characters. What does it mean?!

It means you're special.

Or maybe that the character is intentionally awful? She needs more dead parents, I guess.

There. Evie got a 21. But dryad Evie who has crazy magical powers in addition to her super tragic past that left her horribly broken. And the magic kind of gave her Alzheimer's. So not really Suish I guess.

I only got about half way through before I have to go, which is now. I did surprisingly better than I thought it would for the amount of questions p=er checks. Of course a lot of them were gray areas. Either way I did better than I thought I would. :U

I tried putting Hou through it, but I gave up part-way through the appearance thing because I wasn't clicking because nothing applied.

Most of the questions were for "good guys" lol

I did it about my characters in general, then decided on one.

I have an alarming tendency to give them scars, my name, trench coats, and strang eyes, now that I think about it.

I tried the vampire character I made in seventh grade and she wasn't even a Sue. I think something is wrong with me.

Jared? He was a 16 or something, I don't remember. His character is insanely developed now.
