| My parents have offered to buy me any graphics tablet (of a reasonable price, of course) for my birthday. I've looked around, and I frankly have no idea what I'm doing.
So if anyone has any suggestions, like one you use yourself, or that you wish you had, posting them here would be awesome.

| Graphics tablet? Are we talking like, an iPad tablet or a Bamboo tablet? | |

| The latter. For drawing purposes and such, because I despise both scanners and mice. | |

| Okay, thanks! A Bamboo of some sort seems to be the one to get, if other people I know are any indication. | |

| I have a Bamboo Pen and Touch which IMO is pretty good, though I have nothing to compare to. It's also not extremely expensive compared to other things. | |

| I got an older model Bamboo Fun (back when it was the current model) and it's pretty nice. In general, just stick with Wacom and you can't do too badly for yourself. Here's one on a ridiculously good sale at Amazon: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]For something closer to the original price, here's one with similar working area, but more buttons: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| I have some sort of Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet as well. All I know is that I got it about five years ago, and it still works. It was a bit pricy, but I think that was because it came with a crappy version of Corel Painter and the excellent Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0. Elements has more stuff than Corel, though, so if you can get just the tablet or the tablet and Elements in a set, that's preferable.
I've heard of tablets ranging from $70 to $200, but the lower-priced ones are fine, in my opinion. I'd aim for one in the lower-priced area. Good luck in your search!

| Yeah, mine's only a hundred bucks, had it for eight months and it still works great. I guess Wacom is the way to go! | |

| I have a Wacom Bamboo something_or_other, no that is not it's name, I just don't quite remember what it is called. Works good, though I bought the cheapest one and wish I had bought the slightly more expensive one... Because this thing just don't have enough features for me...
But yeah, stick with Wacom and you'll be golden, or whatever color you select I guess.
