Just start off somewhere in town, and you can either find your way around, or I'll introduce something once I figure out where you're starting. The docks/merchant district or the fight club are probably the places to be right now.

Can I be meditating on a rock in the water? Or close to the water, in the docks area?

Whatever works for you. Less is likely to happen to you there until the plot gets going, unless you'd like to do a few introspective posts or get bugged by a drunk or something.

Brief bio: Born and raised in the frozen north, Stalwart knew the harshness of life, even from an early age. Works for me. Your third language is Skytongue (if it's not filled on your sheet, you speak Seatongue and Riverspeak, like everyone else. You have Linguistics 2, so you get a third language).

Seatongue is the native language of the West, Skytongue is the North's, and Riverspeak is a trade language that is spoken pretty much everywhere.

Oh boy, if we ever come across any Russi-, er, I mean, Northerners, I can talk to them!

I'm going to be disappearing tomorrow afternoon, around 3-4 PA time, and I'll be back at some point on Sunday. I know how annoying it is to have GM's do this to people, but the timing just sort of worked out that way.

Hopefully this will give people plenty of time to get started and find each other if desired. JohnOstrich, if I don't hear from you before I leave, I'll make that roll for you so you have something to do while I'm gone.

It's not like it isn't something I don't want to do, I'm just annoyed that the timing for the game worked out this way. Seemed as though if I waited until after, people would lose interest, though.

From what I understand, just be doing something. Say "Red cape is using the Saturn's day to try to find someone to pickpocket" Fluff that up, of course, but start there, and Eo should help you continue.

As for Jac... I don't know, do something... negotiator...y? I don't even know what that job entails.
