I don't know whether this should go here or elsewhere. So keep with me.


So, I heard you like RPs.

I could have this here, but really it'd lose any and all significance if it was anywhere else. The RP itself is structured as a satire of an RP of the MCF titled Pirate's Bay Online. So, with the RP being targeted for public satire over there, it wouldn't work anywhere else.

But in any case, if anyone would like to you're invited to journey over there and join. The forum in itself only has one direction to go: which is up. So we could use more competent RP'ers.

And if you're not going to read any of the OP's, here's a run down of both:

Pirate's Bay is based off of some anime or whatever called Sword Art Online. RP'ers play as someone's avatar in a video game world where everyone is a pirate. Inactivity sentences your character to be forced into a coma. Death in the game results in death in real life. The only way to leave the game is to beat the game.

It's been heralded as the "pinnacle of hardcore gaming" and no one seems to care it actually kills players.


Space Pirate Bay Online takes that concept, but focuses on the real world repercussions. Set in the near future, the story follows the conflict between the company "Player's Arts Online" and the US Government in a massive investigation into the rumored malfunctions in the company's VR helmets that result in player death or coma.

Considering the nature of the RP, you're welcome to make any kind of whacky character, or spin on a RL figure for the sake of satire. For shit's sake: we have Bill Cosby as the president.
