Back Again

This is Unuhexium, the Sporum account named by a misspelling of the element Ununhexium. Now that element's name has changed, so I made it that. I was preferential to Unuhexium, buuut I guess this is more symbolic. Change and whatnot.

Oh, how long has it been? Five years at the least. When I first saw the Sporum, it was at naught but 43 pages. I remember that number, even, if you can believe that. When did I depart? Around the 200s? Was it still there when I got back? How often I went back and forth from the board and when I did so is murky, but I can remember most all my threads; the Insect RP being the first, another attempt at re-booting the illustrious Roleplaying Series the last.

And no matter where I went, there was never that sense of community. I'm not even sure I know what I'm talking about. Sporum's Roleplay section was small, but it was active. Vibrant. I adored each and every moment of it. If there was a new thread, it was a big deal, because there were only like thirty people there tops, and you could be sure that nearly all of them saw it. Not like those places I floated into, where it was exceedingly easy to get lost in a perpetual avalanche of topics.

I remember Illidia, Venifcus, Roleplaying V, Dimensional Clash, the Order of the Black Worm, Secon City, Divine Roleplaying, Manifest Destiny... Is that all? I thought I did more. Seemed like a lot in my head. I did a Pollplay once, and then another with pictures of Fallout 3. Those were fun, too.

But where is everyone? I've reason enough to believe you're in this forum somewhere. Leetstriter? Doctor Walrus? SilentEpiphany? Archereon? ChaosHarbinger? Oh, there were so many more of you, I bet. Tarcin and Hockeater and Gojiravel and Wolfiji...

I remember Aravan, too. But no one liked him much. That was pretty funny.

I do not remember you. Apologies. But I doubt you remember me either. This place is rather dead as of now, most of the community having moved onto other places, at least as far as I know... But if you wish to stay, we have a bed in the attic, right beside that one guy we stuffed and dressed to look like a pink version of Darth Vader wearing a thong. And stockings. Ask for room service and you'll get a menu. Try the veal.

Belated greetings, Unu. That's quite a good epitaph.

I recall seeing you about, particularly in Venificus, Ilidia, and wherever it is that hock's Bulbaro hailed from, but I suppose we didn't interact... basically ever. Alas. But it is good that many Sporumers remember the place.

Just gotta find wherever they moved onto after this.

Oh, that's a shame, but yeah, I see it. I remember seeing you a great deal of places as well, but I couldn't name specifics. Hock's Bulbaro came from the last worthwhile installment of Roleplaying. V, I think it was.
