Yooooooooooooooooooo!

Today marks the second day of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate being out! I know not many people really come to the Project these days, but I figured I'd make a topic regarding this ever-lovely game.

I've been playing the hell out of this game, and, much like with 3U, I'm loving every minute of it. That said... I like this game a whole lot more than 3U. I can't quite put my finger on it (other than the exclusion of underwater combat, thank heavens), but I just do. I've already made it to the Urgent Quest for Rank 4 Village/Caravan Quests, and... Well... Let's just say a certain baby dragon kicked my ass. :T So I ran off, beat up the Zamtrios, turned its icy hide into some sweet armor, and am seriously not looking forward to fighting Gore again...

Has anyone else gotten this game? Is anyone looking at it and wondering if they should get it? (The answer is yes, absolutely. Online multiplayer with friends? Hell yes.) Let's have a MonHun discussion!

I... Know nothing about either of those games, unfortunately. /)n(\ That said, yes, you can team up with up to three other people, either locally or via the super awesome online multiplayer (which unfortunately lacks a voice chat... or fortunately, depending on who you ask), or take on the monsters by yourself in the game's solo "story mode"!

If you get the chance, you should totally try to get your hands on Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate! Like I mentioned above, the multiplayer is actually looking pretty freaking great (I haven't tested it out myself yet, but that's because I'm waiting for somebody to get it so we can do it together), and it's on the 3DS! Plus, many people are saying that it's the first game to really try to ease new players into the swing of things - though it does still have a very high learning curve as you rank up through the Ranks!

It is basically Evolve in a sense, but with AI monsters and what have you.

Monster Hunter with someone else actually controlling the monster... Now that'd be fun...

... It would definitely help out monsters like the Gravios... Gravios, why are you so sloooooooow...? You look like an awesome volcano boulder dragon! LIVE UP TO IT!
