for reference, the current config, as far as we know:
refugee -(100)-> user -(500)-> common poster -(1000)-> frequent poster -(2000)-> contributor

which looks a lot less obtuse when they're all laid out like that

compare to the sporum's ranks:
microbe -(100)-> multicellular -(500)-> mouthbreather -(1000)-> civilized sporeon -(5000)-> spacefaring sporeling -(10k)-> galactic cod god

which are a bit insulting, at points, but admittedly get more flavorful instead of less

I checked the administration panel.

Upon hitting 3,000 posts, you become a Top Contributor. At 4,000 posts, Addict. Reaching 5,000 posts, RPProfessional.

I like it going in a fashion like.

100 500 1000 2000 5000 10000, where each title is a significant progress from the previous.

I didn't expect to see anybody reaching 5,000 posts, so I figured that was a good enough top tier rank achievement.

Can we do that thing where mods/admins just randomly assign me silly titles to keep things interesting?
