So basically we're rewriting the Romeo and Juliet Script but with Homestuck characters.

Verona: Can Town

Narrator: Karkat

Romeo: John: Johneo
Juliet: Vriska: Vrisket
Mercutio: Dave: Davcutio
Benvolio: Tavros: Benvros
Nurse: Terezi
Prince: WV
Lord Montague/Capulet: Sollux
Lady Capulet: Aradia
Lady Montague: Feferi
Friar Laurence: Nepeta: Friar Pawrence
Tybalt: Karkat
Rosaline: Rose: Roseline
Paris: Eridan: Paridan

Dave would be an awesome Benvolio.

And so it was.

Dave should be Mercutio, the one who is sassy and awesome.

Sollux should be both Lords Montague and Capulet, red self for Cap and blue for Mont.

Tav should be Benvolio....

Terezi should be the nurse, because that would be hilarious.

Sollux: Be both Lord Montague and Lord Capulet at the same time?

And then Gamzee is the Prince.

But Dave and John are like bros. It's like made to be canon.

Having Tavros as Mercutio though... That would be hilarious.

Mercutio is better friends with Romeo then Benvolio, last time I checked. benvolio is more shy, whereas Mercutio is like 'IN YO FACE'

I have all these characters mixed up. Mercutio is the one who picks a fight with that one dude right?

Mercutio picks a fight with Tybalt, yes.

Okay. Now who will be Tybalt. I think Karkat as a Tybalt would be amusing.

I thought Eridan should be Mercutio.

I don't remember the actual characters, I've only seen a goshdarn creepy modern rendition by some Australian director featuring Leonardo DiCaprio.

I think Eridan should be Tybalt, because Tybalt is all stuck up and snobbish and bluh.

Eridan as Tybalt. Tyrbalts all like "Juliet is mine" would make sense.

Vvris is mine landwweller.

I vote we rename Verona Can Town, and the Prince can then be played by WV.

We are only missing...
Balthasar -- Balthasar is Romeo’s servant. He tells Romeo that Juliet has died.

Escalus -- Escalus is the Prince of Verona who tries to keep peace between the houses Montague and Capulet. He banishes Romeo from Verona for the death of Tybalt.

Peter -- Peter is the nurse’s servant.

Sampson -- Sampson is one of the servants to Capulet. He and Gregory start a fight at the beginning of the play with Abram, a Montague.

Gregory -- Gregory is one of the servants to Capulet. He and Gregory start a fight at the beginning of the play with Abram, a Montague.

Abram -- Abram is one of the servants to Montague who gets into a fight with Sampson and Abram.

We have 'Prince' in the OP, which is, in essence, the same as Escalus, who is apparently the Wayward Vagabond

May have missed some extreme minor characters.

Because WV is the Mayor of Can Town, so obviously if the place is named Can Town he must be its prince.

Omni, you have Karkat as both Tybalt and Narrator.

I know. I haven't found someone else to be Tybalt yet.

Then we'll just have to fix that won't we.

I should have a character to play him shortly.

Okay. just let me know once you've come up with something.
