Life in Nowhere IC

She pressed him up against the wall, pressing her lips against his. Her hands went right for his waist. "Why talk?" She brushed off his clothes anyway, releasing her hold and taking a step back. "Tell me, how many times have you had a chance like this?" She glanced to either side to be sure no-one was around. "I don't really require emotional attachment to enjoy a relationship, strange for a cheerleader I admit, but then I like being different."

"Ugh. Typical rara, acting like a whore.. You all just don't seem to get how deep we are! Fucking wastes of space.." He turned to leave, a blush easily concealed by the layers of makeup he was wearing. God this annoyed him. Here he thought an intellectual cheerleader could exsist but of course not. Busy thinking with their hormones as opposed to any functioning peice of gray matter. Sure, he could feel some of the blood working its way to the ground, but damnit he wasn't that simple.

Of course, he was interrogated by te first teacher who saw him out there. However, he said that he was out because the jocks were acting like apes and te teacher walked off, seemingly satisfied with that answer.

She paused for a moment to think. She didn't want to lose him that easily. "Okay, I'm sorry I assumed that you were interested in just the pleasure. But give me a break, I'm 18, and I've never been in a relationship." She approached him slowly, putting her arms around his waist. "Come on, just one time to help you loosen up. Or if you really want to leave... then that's fine. I drive the navy blue Porsche if you change your mind."

"A porsche? Your family must hate you. And why would I change my mind? Sex isn't some meaningless act derived for only pleasure to me. It's love making for a reason. Now if you grow up and stop thinking just of sex, I'm the one with the black hearse being driven out front." Oh goody, reveal more of yourself why don't you, Anthony.. So stupid. Just keep walking.. He marched on. Just waiting to get out of there.

He saw the kid from earlier coming back. He ran up and handed him back the twenty dollars. "They're yours." He paused for a second. "What did you mean when you said 'raras' and goths would eat me up?" He didn't understand the meaning of that.

"Cheerleaders would hate you for talking with one of them.. Goths would hate you for fraternizing with one of the enemy. It's quite simple." He gave the twenty bucks back and laughed. "Trust me. It'll do you better good. I'm Asura, by the way." He loved using his alias as his name. He even had everyone at home doing it.

"Asura. Riveting name, sounds almost elven. I'm James. James Pierce." He laughed. At least there were some tolerable people here. "Hey man, you got a phone? Seems easier to survive together." He breathed, ten continued. "That is, of course, unless you have other plans."

She shrugged again. "I like it, gets me where I need to go, at a very nice speed." She paced around for a bit longer. "Okay, so I'm very presumptuous and forward. I'm also addicted to arcade games, probably why I have no social life." She reached for his arm again, but stopped herself. "I can be dominant or passive just so you know. And..." She chewed on her lip, her one opportunity was quickly leaving. She slipped her arm around him again, putting one of her cards into his pocket. "Just my number and address."

"Hehehe. Close. But yes, most people don't recognize the beauty of my name. Hell man, you can come with me to my house. I live with my grandfather, George Raymond." He waited for the reaction to set in. There was nary a person who didn't know of the Raymonds; they leaved in a manor accessible through only a forest road. He turned to face the girl and lightened up a bit. "Sorry, mega-man's more my style." Yeah. Cute. Real fucking cute. Just fuck up with this rara. Maybe.. she did deserve a chance.

"You're a pretty cool guy, Asura. But I'm a bit new here." He hoped to just come off as naive or charming rather than irritating. People were like emotional minefields, that much was easy to prove. Back to work. Ha walked to the drink machine an bought some mountain few with pocket change. He drank some of the caffeinated soda.

She tilted her head from side to side briefly. Mega-man. Didn't sound too bad. She glanced at the kid from before, rolling her eyes to the side. "I can flow with him I guess. I hang out around Flynn's, on the corner of Main and Fifth." She moved so she could face both guys at the same time. "I take it that I don't really have much chance, since you're already inviting him over. I've got gym and cheer-leading coming up, if you happen to be in the area."

"I can reschedule if need be, man. Just ask." And now he turned to the cheerleader. "Have fun with that." He then said to both of them, "I have a class to get to," in a very dry manner. He walked away.

"You can come along too, if you're not gonna cry about every spider on the way there. Or the creaky iron gate, and how spooky my house and room look. Both of you're invited. I suggest you come. That way, I don't have to be bored." He cracked his neck and leaned against the wall. He looked at her, eyeing her with piercing eyes. "You sure you want to come along, rara? This isn't some prank to be pulled on the rich goth kid." He hoped he dropped another hint for his friend before noticing he had gone to the vending machine. Oh well. Bragging nonetheless.

She smiled. Horror themed house, if only more people were willing to live like that. "Actually, I'd say that sounds pretty damn cool. My home's got the works for maintenance and cleaning, but I like the smell of long settled dust. Probably why I hang around Flynn's so much." Her eyes flicked back to the clearing. "I take it you're still upset with me about the whole thing there." Her shoes, damnit if someone noticed... "Just real quick, in and out?" She shook her head, hanging it low as she went to retrieve her shoes. No, she should just give up on it. "I'll see you later I guess."

"I'm not having fucking sex with you. Not now. I can't say it's a definite no yet for the future, through some odd turn of events the gods have ordained. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got sociology next." He turned and cricked his neck, carrying his journal by his side. He hoped she would have the class with him. Stupid of him to hope, of course. He hardly knew how he felt about this woman.

She retrieved her socks and sneakers, quickly putting them back on. Gym and cheerleading, essentially the same thing... Racing to get back up, she caught up with him. "What class have you got? I just remembered that they've made our cheerleading coach full time, so I'll have a new teacher... and you know how new teachers can be." She bit her lip as she thought of a way to respond. "Sorry, I was grabbing at string. Won't happen again I swear."

"I've got sociology next. Social studies elective, y'know?" He yawned. "Room 224. Yourself?" He was passing time. He liked walking with her. Oh god what if the others saw him with her... He attempted to make distance before stopping and sighing. "Why do you do that? Make yourself out to be such a big slut when you're obviously a virgin?" He crossed his arms, holding the journal on the side rather close to her. He stared into her eyes, covering his with his bangs.

She tossed her hair again in no particular fashion. "With money comes bad tidings. Two of my five sisters are expecting, neither married. My second oldest brother sleeps around, the twins go around vandalising things. And my mother died when she got a combination of diseases from men not necessarily my father. That's what I live with, while I've kept out of it, I can't help but adopt that attitude around someone I've got the hots for." She noticed he was keeping his distance and did the same. No need to spread rumours if it could come out bad for them.

"Hmph. I daresay that'd be proper if we were wasteful. And as I am an only child living with my dithering grandparents, I can get away with just about anything I have to do.." He reached out, moving her hair a bit. "Or anyone I want to do, as well.. But enough of that. I'll see you. Remember, black hearse. You can follow me on my way home." With that he walked off to his next class, holding the book firmly at his side. God damn raras could be convincing. Oh well, sociology next, a class he somewhat enjoyed as opposed to basic social sciences.

She shrugged, pacing around in a circle. Sociology, her teeth gritted at the thought. Perhaps she could sneak in if the gym teacher turned out to be a total douche. Hurrying over, she peeked inside. One look at her was enough, she was going to skip today. Running back to the sociology class, she acted casual as she filed in with the stragglers, sitting down at no particular seat. At the very least she could pass it off as a sit-in, not that anyone would really care.

He sat beside her and glared to the side, as the teacher got role over and simply sat there. "The fuck are you doing in here, Rara, this ain't your god damn class! They'll kill you if they find out.. You're just lucky the dumbass knows how schedule changes can fuck up a roster." He scooted closer to her and sighed. Another class without friends. Wonderful. Just fucking wonderful. It had to be this god damn way, that a rara would obsess over him on the first fucking day. He'd have to make her pay by deflowering her and dropping her like a fucking hot potato. Hot she was..

She shrugged her shoulders. "New gym teacher looks like some woman who runs a boot camp. And besides I need to work on socialising a bit more, I'm obviously out of practise." She smiled cheesily as the teacher noticed her. Through her teeth she continued slowly. "I sat away from you to save you any questions from others. Just calm down, I'll handle the teacher okay?"

"No, you won't handle the teacher, I will. He's surveying us right now. Seeing how our psyches work. Currently what he's noticing is inter-click relationship which he'll no doubt mark us as revolutionaries for. Don't worry about it. And if you're embarassed to be around me, maybe I should take back that invitation from you. I don't like shallow people and sure as hell won't fuck/date one."

She closed her eyes again. "It's just this one time, I'd rather be here than listening to the break-in speech from Miss Boot Camp. And I'm not concerned about myself, I was more concerned about you. You seemed uncomfortable with being seen so close to me out there, I thought it'd be a good idea to keep that going."
