Disney Question (Semifinals)

Last time we reached a stalemate between a regular Disney RP and a Kingdom Hearts RP. All the other choices have been eliminated, so there's just these two.

So. What do you guys want?

I've been playing way too many RPGs as of late. I need a break from the prepubescent Bishōnens.

as a result my vote goes in the KH category, mostly because I love the worldbuilding and stuff (and also i want to try out my wielder OC,,,,,,,,,,,,,)

I'm going to have to pick choice 1, because I don't know much about Kingdom Hearts :3

KH voices are irritatoe as fuck so...

If the regular crossover was picked, I do have an idea for a plot in mind, if you want to hear it.

Kingdom Hearts is my favorite game series, and I say go KH all the way. Played almost every game, follow the plot fairly close, and love it and think it as one of the best and most developed plots of any game series I have ever played, and defiantly one of my favorite plotlines.

Do to time-restraints, I'll begin on my plot anyways. So, instead of the tried and overused action battle fighting RP, I had in mind something of a Crime Drama (well, Dramedy, what with it being Disney); a Murder Mystery of sorts set in the (2D) Disney Animated Canon (Lion King, Aladdin , Beauty & Beast, etc). Basically, someone been's killed.

This begin to arouse the curiosity of several select individuals, who decide to undertake all their own investigations in a search to find the culprit. I think it would play out like Clue, although with less of a 'game' focus and more of a 'narrative' focus.

I imagine the setting would be set in a sort of 'Disney Earth', seeing that almost all the musicals take place primarily somewhere on Earth, but in several different periods. Naturally, 'Disney Earth' is all the locations with all the time periods taking place simultaneously. So yes, that means 1800's New Orleans, Ancient Greece, and Feudal Asia, along with plenty of others, all set side by side.

And yeah, that's a great idea. I wasn't really planning on doing a KILL EVERYBODY roleplay anyway (it's Disney, come on, folks).

Actually, it does look like a regular crossover's winning out.

...But why not add 3-D animated movies like Tangled or Meet the Robinsons? (Maybe not Wreck-it Ralph so much because it gives everybody an excuse to use Bowser).

Not yet, but I've seen Gaston and Frollo Get a Life, and a few others.

In terms of the Pixar works, while including them might be interesting, I think it might depend on how many players there are for this. After all, even when using only the 2D animated stuff, we still have plenty of character and NPC opportunities, especially if we include some of the older shorts and works. Adding the Pixar works would probably double it.

Of course, that doesn't mean we don't need to give plenty of references to the Pixar works. In the event that Gaston enters a Modern area, I can definitely see him trying to get his hands on the latest L1-Tenning Queen model, or perhaps if the Disney Princesses^TM get together they would discuss the lack of a female-not-quite-monarch whose *insert character features of Rapunzel here*.

So far I can't see any other roleplays using this kind of plot, so it's probably pretty much up-for-grabs.

Sadly I won't be able to do any IC posting for a few days. Traveling and whatnot. I can still help with some of the planning, though.

The great thing about Timon and Pumbaa is that their personalities allow for a variety of interesting and hilarious situations.

I say kingdom hearts because we can just abuse the system already in place, and we aren't limited to Disney(just because licensing prevents non-Disney doesn't mean they couldn't cross over with any...)
