Halo: New Jericho

The man sighed as he shifted his weight back and forth from foot to foot, bored and tired from the long day, his joints ached and the air felt moist and cold. He sighed when a cold freezing wind blew in his face and under his helmet trying to pull it off, he glanced over at his partner. “How long do you think we have to stand here?” He asked.
“The Sargent said we had to defend the generator with our lives until the back-up troops came.” His partner responded turning to look at him holding his freezing cold rifle in his hands till his fingers felt numb. He had a young looking face his skin pale from the cold and his dark brown hair hanging down the sides of his face. His helmet was securely strapped under his chin,
“Right.” The other man said looking out across the grass. “What do the covies want with this planet anyways? It’s hot and desolate why don’t we give it to’em and make’em happy?” He asked,
“I don’t know Jake, I’m not a general why don’t you go ask the Sargent? I bet he-URKGAL” His words were cut off with a gurgle as a two foot long blazing energy sword cut into his gut, the sword slid out to show the flickering figure of a camouflaged Elite Spec Opts standing behind the young-now dead man’s body. The man that had been informed as Jake froze, his eyes widen in shock as he looked up at the eight foot tall elite who swung its head around roaring salvia splattering Jake’s face and helmet. He backed away lifting his rifle and pulling the trigger the Elite roared as bright flashes of bullets pinged against its shields.
“S-Sarge!! Elites!” Jake yelled turning around to run as he tripped over his partners dead body, the sight froze him in place…He heard a loud shotgun blast go off and the sound of his Sargent’s voice
“Who gave you permission to kill my men Hinge-Head?!” The Elite's body fell over forwards with a giant hole in its gut. “Hey sunny get to your feet!” The Sargent ordered, as Jake looked over at him he gasped

“Sarge! Whatch out!” But it was too as the Elite grabbed his Sergeants head and snapped it one direction killing him instantly. Jake was terrorized, and he backed up quickly standing up he ran as fast as he could the wet grass, the Elite roared at him but whatever they said none came after him as he ran off into the woods….The Covenant where here…They were on New Jericho.


So here we have it a Halo fathom related Role-Play, the time is not long after Reach fell. Which means no Spartan IV's, you could MAYBE have a Spartan III but we'd prefer to keep it to the II's. :) This is a fan-made RP, meaning its made up inside the halo Universe. For anyone that might remember me this is the only RolePlay I will be focusing on, I'm afraid my plate is as full as full can be! Sorry! But I do hope you enjoy this one!

Personality: Shes generally quiet and keeps to herself, more one to stand at the edge of the crowd then in the middle of it. She’s not afraid to give her opinion but unless asked she usually doesn’t, however when around her team she much more open and talkative. When it comes to the battle field she’s merciless and determined, she has a deep hatred for the covenant; that goes back far. She used to be assigned to a different team when they were attacked by hunters and Elites-An ambush. She and one other member were the only ones who made it out alive, but her teammate was wounded and eventually died at her feet from his wounds.

Short bio: She was taken to train as a Spartan from the age of Six, to her that’s when her life really stared. As she remembers nothing about her life before that, even when she tries as hard as she can she just doesn’t remember. She made friends a lot quicker then she expected when her and another Spartan by the name of Dex worked well together, soon as her Spartan training went on Dex because squad leader of her team and they were very successful.
They mostly went on spec opts missions, harassing the enemy, elimination high value targets, they weren’t on the front page of the news of war but they certainly helped in the war as much as any Spartan. Then the day came, when her squad fell. They had been told the area had been cleared by the ODST’s when a Elite ambush caught them off guard, one of her teams mates got shot in the chest with a feul rod the other got sliced upwards by an elite. Her and Dex were the last two when even the Spartan squad leader got it, she picked him up and ran but his wounds were to fatal. He died in her arms. And she was assigned to another team.

Bio: When he was younger he always fought with the other male elites, but one elite in particular he liked. They would go head to head for hours, bruised, beaten, but happy. They got along well and soon became best friends, they had the same goal in mind too- Be the best warrior they could. And so they became almost brothers, in fact they even call each other ‘brother’ when talking. They both had interests in forerunner artifacts and worked their way up to being Zealots together.

Personality: Determined, strong willed, and loyal. Exro is the typical loyal Elite for the covenant, he’s for thinker type of person though and often looks at a situation and thinks about it for a while. Rather than just jump in raging and slashing at anyone in his path. He is nice and respectful towards his teammate, he doesn’t hate the human but he has no problem in killing them.

Bio: He spent a lot of time getting beaten up and bullied by other Elites when he was young, for being ‘soft’ but despite that he always pushed forwards. He always got up and tried again, and again, one day another young male Elite stood up for him when he was being bullied.
He found his name was Extro, at first they were competitive- But in a good way. And Extro would defend Tarez and Tarez would do the same for him any day. Soon they became ‘brothers’ and joined the covenant army together.

Personality: Generally more kind then his Brother he has a kind heart, but in the wrong place. He’s more caring and gentle but if you piss him of he’s your worst nightmare, he has a very muscular build. And it’s extremely hard to anger him, he fights for the covenant though and is as loyal as any other Elite.

Rank: Commander.
Personality: She can be rude, mean, and snappy at times having a very petulant and intolerant personality, she however puts up with command and orders and does her job well. She doesn’t agree with the Covenant religion but as long as she doesn’t get eaten by brutes she could care less. She however does care about her team or any of her friends and would die for them, she’s hard to get along with but very loyal, and she’s good at what she does.
Bio: Most of her past is unknown but it is known that she once had a crush on a male Jackal sniper, but an Elite out of its rage for the Jackal’s recent failure killed him. Ever since then she’s served under the elites, but with silent hatred for them.

I've thought of a pilot, a tank commander, and an ODST specialising in military free-fall. Not using those pussy SOIEVs, REAL freefall. HALO, HAHO and LALO.
