Ah! They'd landed! He bounded off of the plane. Wow. So this was Athens. Mythology at every corner. The ancient city, with so many old temples. There had to be some indigenous wildlife too. Maybe some diviner's sage, Salvia divinorum.

"Welcome to Athens, my friend, home to some drugs. Oh and the stake will paralyze her.. So all we'd have to deal with is her little companions. She won't die from it." He turned and looked at Asia. "Well, our little Seer of Ways? Where does this venture take us next? To Aphrodite, or Athena?"

So much to do. So much to do now that he was away from boringtown USA. He'd have to see the sights, see the temples, learn history. Busy busy busy. He'd need a distraction soon. This job was beginning to seem a bit off.

Asia, having ousted herself from the crate, considered Victor's query. She looked up into the night sky, arms folded, licking her lips as if she could taste her thoughts.

"It's less of being brought than doing the bringing, singing, and why choose one domino to topple over another? Why choose one domino, and then why not choose another. To the first we go, and the second after! Once we've seen the stars, we'll know how they look! We will know how it happened, she will always know, no no no, how it happened."

She nodded in acknowledgement and turned to look around the landscape. It was quite lovely, perhaps she could spend a few nights here before returning home. Home, when she re-entered the ornamental gates of the Toreador estate, she would not be a sorry girl begging for forgiveness, but the one in charge at last. They were in desperate need of new blood to guide the clan.

"Aphrodite it is, then. The seer has spoken and the stars are right. Let's go on then mates. I hope you're all prepared for a fight." He cracked his knuckles And smiled.

A beautiful night; light from the moon was clear. A first quarter moon, shining down on the city of Athens. More of a wonderful place could not be found. The architecture was quite wonderful. "I say after we get her killed... We just go along around here for a week or so enjoying everything they have to offer. Especially their Elysiums. It's a place filled with these wonderful strobe lights and everything just feels like one big high. So twisted. So wonderful."

She wandered around the path, enjoying the brighter nights, being much closer to the equator. She recalled him mentioning Elysiums before, he had expected that she lived in one. "I guess..." She flicked out one of her knives and tossed it in her hand.

Asia, keeping her mouth closed, contented herself with humming an ambiguously haunting melody for the duration of the trip. She followed along behind the others, weaving back and forth across the path, hands outstretched as if she was balancing on some unseen length of cord that wound lazily to their destination.

Vic sighed and looked up; a temple, quite the symbol of Greek architecture, stood up above them on a hill, lit with what appeared to be torches and sconces. If this didn't bring back old memories.. He smiled and gripped the stake in his jacket pocket firmly before marching onward. "Right. Malk here will be our lookout to warn of impending dangers whether or not we can see them. I'll paralyze or distract the queen bitch, while Twitch does the killing of guards and helping us further, and Kat here will consume the ancient."

She made her way up the steps with little hesitation, flicking her knife around as she went. Couldn't hurt to get a look at the place before charging in and the like. What she would do right now for a pistol with silencer. Much cleaner, left more blood in the victim, less chance of infection developing.

He stood up and was greated by a guard. He asked to see "The Rose" and was immediately led along with the party into a large antechamber. He waited patiently with them for fifteen minutes before they were informed that a supply of blood had been prepared as a welcome gift.

She tightened her lip at the notion. The looks she had gotten hadn't helped to settle her mind. If they knew she had been exiled... "Lovely, I take it I can't spoil my growing appetite." She paced around for a moment, itching to get into the action. But she had to wait, that much was obvious. To act hastily would ruin everything.

There Arikel rose. And she spoke with the most cruel and vain voice; such arrogance was almost palpable.

"Oh my what's this? An entourage come to see me? I see one of the grandchilder of my wonderful twin, Malkav.. And how is it, little mad one, that you could manage to stumble into my temple without dying of the brain rot your people are so accustomed to? Oh and an Assamite.. Yes, I see you there, little caste boy. You don't belong even in your own clan, isn't that so. You're nothing even to them; you're alone. Ah and one of the Cappa.. No what is it you all go by.. Giovanni. Yes, the bastard progeny of a vampire whom killed his sire and one of my brothers.. How does it feel necromancer? Being in the presence of one who's been dead for so long? Your age is probably pathetic.. Nono.. And who's this? She looks akin to my image.. Another of my clan? Oh but you're filthy. I can smell the sex on you; fornicating? With the dead no less? Pathetic. I should have you removed from the clan; but I have the strangest feeling that you already have. You're just a pathetic little bitch aren't you huh? Her intent was clear as she leaned in on the four. Victor prepared himself for anything he'd have to do, taking a step forward. "Miss.. Arikel.."

She tightened her fist. The temptation to sucker punch the old hag was very strong. Her exile was highly unjust. And she had doubts that the antediluvian was a virgin herself. "Got news for you old woman. I've got a better grip on reality in my eyelash than any of the idiots running the operation where I come from..."

He cringed and realized in an instant that Arikel had appeared behind them. He felt himself attempting to sweat (the glands were closed) and turned slowly. "H-How.. WHAT THE!" He saw her, holding Kat hostage. With a hand pressed up against her heart.. Or.. groping.. That's right.. This woman had been alive during a period of blissful ignorance towards what sexuality was..

She gritted her teeth as Arikel took her hostage. Just great, perfect plan Victor, I really see this working out well... Without thinking, she fumbled for her knife and stabbed it into the cold flesh. It probably wouldn't do much, but all she needed was a distraction to turn and feed.

Arikel had done something he had hardly kept track of; she grabbed the knife. In an instant he noticed her heart a bit exposed and aimed carefully throwing the stake hoping it would land; luckily it was near enough that it should at least startle the antediluvian. Within a moment he descended upon the ancient, holding her back with his fortitude. "WHY'D YOU HAVE TO GO AND FUCKING INSULT HER!"

She flailed her arms about as she began struggling to find an opening to her neck. "Because no-one calls me that! And, I can't say I like her much anyway." Doing her best to avoid a fatal blow, she continued to struggle. "For the record I miscarried in the end, not my problem I have a flair for seduction."

"SHUT UP AND BITE HER DAMNIT!" He cringed and attempted to hold her back longer, reaching for the stake. An ungodly sexual noise escaped the antediluvian and surprise/shock came over Vic. "T-the fuck..?" His grip loosened slightly before the antediluvian attempted escape, to no avail.

She hauled herself up to reach the much taller vampire's neck and dug in, using her weight to bring both of them down. Already, she could taste the power in her blood, feeling it begin to flow into her body. Her craving grew stronger, she needed more... more...

He felt the vampire screeching and tightened his grip. The death would be upon her soon.. This was too easy a success. He could almost hear a thank you as the last drop was drank, and the new antediluvian stood before him. "Well.. Let's you to the nearest Elysium.. You'll be safe there.. No one attacks in an Elysium.. Let's go.." He grabbed her hand.

She felt overwhelmed by the power she now carried. Absent-mindedly following him, she felt like she was floating in a dream. All feelings had become soft and cushioned, nothing could hurt her. She was as peaceful as she could ever want to be...

He brought her to a night club leaving the others behind; He'd find them some how. He let her in to a room explaining that she was now the new Toreador clan leader. He let her be to go find a source of blood for their short stay in Athens, leaving her with the Toreador females.

She glanced around at the other females, idly watching their looks of admiration. "Okay..." She lay back on the bean bag, staring up at the ceiling in bliss. "Next time I'll surely wear you out..." She let her eyes close as her body became accustomed to the new blood. It was like her first time, all over again.

He sighed and sat. She felt different.. He could've sworn he heard her mumble something. His eyes widened and he clenched his head. He could hear the dead... They were saying something about the first killer. He stood and coughed, stumbling over to a bar. He quickly ordered two boring drinks; some gin mixed with vodka. One with an olive in it, the other with a pink umbrella. Sickening human gestures..
