| If Jac tried to be corrupt, he'd fail miserably. | |

| I'm sorry, what is this word you say? "Corrupt"? Why, I've never heard of such a silly and outrageous thing before. | |

| You know Legs, you and I could team up. If you want your own country, well... if you help me make a giant mech, I could kind of help you impose your will on foolish mortals... | |

| You'll have to put your factory-cathedral somewhere. | |

| I think I can work something else out as well, if you didn't want to purchase a whole new manse. For 6xp, I can put it on your current manse. | |

| Put a factory-cathedral? That's a bit odd for anyone to actually just kinda have. Besides, wouldn't it be more fun/ a better story to hunt for a good spot, and make my own manse? Following that, I would have to upgrade it with the things I need. I like having to work from the ground up, really. | |

| Yes, really. How else am I supposed to build a giant mech? In a shack? | |

| For someone who can't breathe it, that's a terrible, terrible idea. Though if I'd gone with the lobster... still, probably a bad idea. Underwater work conditions are terrible, man. | |

| If I'm feeling generous, and you got enough trained followers to help me, and helped supply me, I'd even make you one. | |

| Y'all will be naturals at this, I can tell. Already planning world domination, how cute.
Colossus Warstriders are effing scary for Lunars because they gain standard armor magical material bonuses.

Yes. Just yes. But can you make it smaller and quiet? Just curious.

| To make it smaller would defeat the purpose, although there are slightly smaller Scout Warstriders. They're not nearly as good, though they'd be an easier effort if you wanted it to also have a cloaking system. | |

| How about a Noble? It's more geared for combat, not being a brick wall, and it's less of an obstruction, has more room for secondary systems.
Mine, of course, is to be a custom N/A variety.
Hey, world domination isn't my goal, I'm just in this for the chance to supply someone with a lot of world dominating gear.

| Noble sounds good!
And Red Cape is the ideal candidate to take over the world.

| Yours could even fly you know. Or go underwater, or both. Sounds like something both ours should do. | |

| Here's the thing: Colossus Warstriders are artifact 5, which is as high as any artifact can go individually. Scout (or common) warstriders are only artifact 3. So a common one might actually be the way to go, depending how much work Wolfji intends to put into it. The common one would still have 20 armor defense and 12 strength and be on par with pretty much anything the Realm can field.
Aditionally, aquatic subsystems are artifact 2-4 depending, and Chameleon Shells are artifact 4.
I realize I'm answering for wolfji, but I have the book out.
Also, who's this John Ostrich fellow?
EDIT: Then you nix the mobility penalty. The colossus will have identical speed, and be stronger and have more soak. Only downside is that nobody's figured out how to make one fly.
Midnight: You don't have to be on when we start. You can post whenever you have time.

| John Ostrich would be my friend.
Nobles are better suited to using the fancy weapons I might want to staple onto these things, though.
We'll have to see what my N/A one turns out to be, but I'm guessing, yes, it'll just be a stock chassis with a lot of upgrades.
