Name: Smaragdus Lux, the Green Star of Illumination

Composition and Form: I stand tall and strong against the faithless hordes of infidels, a bastion of shining emerald blazing in the purifying light of day, weathering the storm of the heretic and the blasphemer as the great mount does before the impotent rage of the elements. My gaze alone would reduce a heathen to ash, releasing their spirit unto transcendence, yet I am merciful also, with holy maces bound to my very being so that I may pound the absolute truth into your doubting mind! I am as pure of body as I am of spirit and no corrupting adornments mock my shape, which does seek only to deliver you into perfection, even when I must give chase to the cowards who exult in their sins!

Personality: You would know the soul of the Steadfast Believer? Of the One Who Endures? Then know that I am resolute in my most sacred duty, that I shall bring about a Revelation, to purge the unworthy and redeem those who might yet be saved!

Power: Though you mock the revering and the worshipful, you will come to know the same love as they, when I invoke the true nobility of my understanding and speak directly to your cowering soul. You will repent your ways and see things the way I do, released from damnation and given control of your destiny, so you may always choose to denounce and reject your abysmal past self!

Goal: In my pity for the unenlightened savages of the world, I will spread the truth throughout its desolation, so that I may convert these poor unfortunate souls and let them see the light!

Location: I have awoken to my calling just north of the great mountain that watches over our withering and immoral land, but be not afraid by my distance, for I shall never cease my travels until you are all saved!

You see?! You see what happens when I get even a whiff of this sort of thing?! Madness! Sparta! And other memes as well...but yeah. Knocked that one up (*giggle* you said "knocked up!" *smack* Shut up!) in about twenty minutes. For maximum effect, read it in the voice of Dynasty Warrior's Zhang Jiao. Use all the ham and cheese.

This roleplay is going to be great, oh my god.

I'm not familiar with the character voice I was supposed to read that in, but a stereotypical southern preacher / Neverwinter Nights' "fanatic" voice still worked pretty well. That was kind of hilarious.

I was thinking the Prophet of Truth from Halo 2.

Added a link to some of his voice 'acting'. Don't try to listen and eat/drink at the same time.
