| I could probably manage that. I'll establish an interest check to catch people's attention, and gauge the likely speed of responses.
What section do you want it in? Advanced or Casual? That choice will set the tone for the whole RP. I'm leaning towards Advanced.

| If you think our RPing is on par with whatever is going on in the advanced section, go for it. To be honest, I was thinking casual, but it could work well either way. The more that I think about it, the more that I think advanced is preferable; we would have less power-playing and all, and with the people in that section being hopefully more experienced, I assume that not as many would join and then quit on us.
Edit: Well, I did more work on the OP. It's nearly done now. I'm not quite sure what to say about Elysium to continue the history section, or if I should explain the Creator and Destroyer, and the Guardians' (Weaver, Carver, etc,) relationship with the Multiverse.
In any case, now would also be a good time to critique the OP as a whole, or go back and reread sections to see if there's anything we might have missed that still needs changing.

| In section 5.4, you make reference to something in section 4.4. However, there is no such reference there. It is instead mentioned in the Introduction.
In the history, it would be wise to make specific note of the events which occurred to the Weaver, turning it into the Ripper, as this piece of information is important to our plot for Elysium.
You need to add a section describing the world of Elysium, like there is for Outremear. In that section, you can include the abbreviated simplified history of Elysium, along with the geographical description. In that geographical description, note that prevailing equatorial winds come from the West, prevailing polar winds come from the East, on the East coast currents go towards the equator and on the West coast currents go away from the equator.
For the metaphysics, I do not think they need to be mentioned specifically. Knowledge of the way metaphysics works will not directly impact the players. They will encounter powerful beings along the way, but the origins of such are our concern and can be revealed with the character/entity. We have mentioned the Devourerer, and the Carver shall become clear as time goes on (especially if you mention exactly what the Weaver's purpose was in the history), so that should be enough.
EDIT: I have actually taken a closer look at the forum. This shall be Casual, definitely. We have been playing at Casual level. I underestimated the level of Advanced. My username is, again, BBeast. Who wants to run the Compendium? You or I? I am quite happy to run it myself.

| Thanks for all the help; the OP is finally done. I didn't manage to shorten it like I originally had planned to (in fact, I might have made it longer) but it's still pretty good.
Yeah, upon closer examination the casual section appears most suitable. As in for the Compendium, I'm willing to tackle that and run the IC, if you're willing to do the OOC and keep the map updated.

| I was originally thinking that the major cities would have 40,000 to 300,000 in them, which is a rather large difference. We should probably meet somewhere in the middle.
My sports team's bus has WiFi, so I'll check out the interest thread but I don't think I'll post on it. I've yet to create an account over there, but when I do I'll try to name it either Element or Chaos. Hopefully those won't be taken.
Oh, and I created an account for RPGuild now. The username is Cyclone.

| I based that on the population of the Earth at a similar time period. But we can do some modifications.
How about total population of 100 million and city size between 100 thousand and 1 million. Anything much smaller than 100 thousand isn't particularly large in realistic population terms. 1 million would be reserved for the biggest of the big cities.

| Works for me.
Oh, and I'm back from that trip, so I can write decent sized posts again.

| We haven't gained any posts on our interest check yet. But I have a plan. When you make your account on there, we can engage in light, slow-paced banter on the thread, keeping on the first page without looking like we're posting spam just to bump it. For a while at least. If nobody's interested, we can leave it and try again some other time, after we've established some greater credibility. | |

| My account name is Cyclone. In all honesty it probably just didn't see much attention since you posted it in what would be really late for America and maybe even Europe.
I'll go over and say that I'm interested.

| Well, it looks like there is now substantial interest, and I see you've set up the OOC. Sorry for sort of vanishing for a week or two; I got sidetracked by some stuff in real life. I'll go join on the other forum. | |
