Zorth, you can parry in turn based. you just need to check the rules for how to do it. I think it's something you declare at the end of you're turn, or something. This is cemented with me by my knowledge that monks can catch arrows. WITH THEIR HANDS.

monks, one of the few constants of all the games- hardest class to play, best if done well(a good monk could literally hold an enemies soul in their hands and just distort it, like whats his name did to Morkai by altering the sound of his name.

I dont doubt that demon is a nice guy, I am just saying that if the female he is portraying is of one of the more civilized races like human or elf or even halfling, then the odds are stacked heavily against his being capable of effectivle and accurately portraying his character.
