Well, Legs, your marks make enemies less capable of hitting your allies, and make them take damage the first time they try to harm someone who isn't you. None of these benefits transfer if they say, try to hit you.

That was the point with the air quotes. As someone who's trying to study Western swords in his spare time, I'm generally insulted/bemused by the weapon designs and definitions in the books.

Okay on the subject of unswords, I'm more of a hammer man. /que MC hammer. Well, hammers, maces, blunt weaponry, really.

I also enjoy bows. I just hate how in games we have to buy arrows. Fucking arrows.

If only there was a bow thing that just had infinite arrows... (Hint, I'll pass out some magic javalins to you guys fairly quickly. They return after being thrown, so it's an infinite, strength based ranged weapon.)

I like anything that isn't overhyped by anime fanboys. Especially polearms, longswords, and großes messers.

When I'm doing Dag, I tend to favor a large hammer or a longsword. Or a kite shield and messer when I can get a shield.

Zee spear, and zee halbard are nice weapons.

I've alays prefered say, mace weaponry, merely because it's simple, anyone can figure out how to use one. You swing it at someone.

I use those too. But the hammer is scarier, and it can hook shields.

Gimme big weapons and a wall shield for defending~

And morningstars (not the flail kind) are just plain cool in my opinon.

Yes, yes it can, but you need to actually know how to use a hammer. Reguardless, yes indeed.



Also, dire flails, where were you removed in 4th edition!?!?!? Because you ere dumb, that's why, but I loved you.

You need to know how to use anything, especially the top-heavy weapons. Otherwise, you overstep the first stroke and get mauled while you try to regain your balance.

Actual war flails, as in, the two-handed behemoths, are pretty sweet. I need to find the video again...

4e did a lot of remodeling from what I heard.

Don't listen to Addis, he'll disallusion you with visions of a more awesome game... but it's also harder to learn.
