Yeah, the reason accents are easy to be unsure about is because they don't always affect the text much.

Sorry about that Mich, I just felt that the mental breakdown due to obsessive-compulsiveness suited me perfectly. Though I haven't actually had a breakdown for that reason, I do have times where it gets to the extremes. xD

Once I can produce a suitable Aelirsa face I'll switch to that of course.

I can be pretty obsessive-compulsive at times too - you should see me find a minute grammatical mistake - but I can't be sure how mine compares to yours.

I'm still wondering when I'll be able to draw significantly better than I have been. My art so far is apparently composed of strokes of luck.

Speaking of birthdays, if we go by the OOC, yesterday marked two years of Children of Aurnia III! I was thinking of mentioning it yesterday, but for some reason I didn't. I like going by the IC anyway, which started on January third, so there.

It seems our characters are sitting around deciding what to do next, just like last year.

Oh, and Miirik - my mom just clarified that she didn't actually get prints of your pictures, since prints weren't available; she says she downloaded the images and sent them to Kodak instead. But since people usually get money when their prints sell (I think?), she's willing to send you the money in some way, if you'd like.

I hope everyone's Christmas's were great, too! I got a new tablet (an Intuos5!) after my old, veteran Bamboo Fun one's pen broke. I say, the Intuos5 is very big! It's at least 3 times as large as my old one! :D

Yes, well, you are awesome and special! They're fabulous drawings, you know. Aw, and that's noble of you. It's just that someone besides the recipient typically pays for gifts anyway, and since it wouldn't come out of my brother's and my personal stores of money, I thought it was a good option to present.

Sorry about my absence, I've been rather occupied with a shorter writing project of mine. (Yes, I consider 55k words to be a very short story). And editing the whole 34 out of 35 chapters is a real pain. But never fear, for I have ideas for my next post!

Sorry for delays, but my school does this stupid mandatory History Fair--I think other states call it History Day. Or maybe that's just what it's called when it's national? *shrugs*

Anyway, birthday presents are also delayed because I tried something new when I was drawing Tem (drawing and coloring in Flash, then shading and drawing the background in PS), and I've been agonizing over it, but I think I managed to salvage it. I actually like it now, with all the tweaks~

I'm glad your time is freeing up again, Miirik, and that you've written so much for personal projects, Jokie. The only thing I remember that sounds anywhere close to that are colonial reanactment day in like 5th grade and a WWII class I was in in CCL. CCL is basically a special school that people test into and attend one day a week throughout elementary school, in case you were wondering.

By the way, I should have a post up midmorning tomorrow. It will also be pretty long, given that I've only typed Aressa's so far and that's nearly a page in Word.

Ok, that post took longer than I thought it would. Just warning you all ahead of time, I will be unable to post from this Thursday until next Tuesday as my band is taking a trip to Washington D.C.. I might be able to post on Tuesday if I get home early enough/am awake enough to do so. I will be able to check on here with my phone, so I can answer questions and be involved OOC as needed.

Michangs has full permission to control Kaldra and Aressa if need be. Aressa will probably be rather quiet for a while, so there wouldn't likely be much interaction from her anyways.

Just so you know, the Yellowstone smell wasn't Tem's scent, it was Kaldra's. He smells more like a combination of Texan forest and library chair. :P It sounded like Kaldra smelled her own home on him in that last post, though, which confuses me a little.

I just kind if meant that she was smelling the Texan forest in him & associating that, along with her feelings towards him, with the idea of "home."
