| Archie, I forgot. Did you want the shard-throwing charm, or did you want to stick to knives? If you do the charm, you're getting the same charm armor everyone else has. Else, you're getting artifact armor - that's more powerful, but it will have to be concealed. | |

| I was going to stick with the dual knives. Also... Artifact armor? | |

| Made of moonsilver. Yep. No mobility penalty, which is sweeeeeeeet. In other words, you can wear superheavy plate and not get slowed down at all.
So, no throwing skills for now? I have you down for one rank for know.

| I think Jac wanted to specialize in throwing when it came to combat.
Now, I want to clear this up, because I forget, I have a shield, right, like... from my body?
Though it does mean he has to forever devote some motes to that.

| Oh that's actually really sweet; I'll take it.
No throwing skill. At least not for now.

| Wolfji: You have a charm called "limb-shielding growth." When you need it, you can summon a bone shield attached to one of your forearms. It raises your defense value and gives you one free perfect defense before the shield breaks. It doesn't require a constant attunement, which is the handy thing.
Arch: Putting that into melee, then.
I hope the next guy chooses martial arts, because that's where some of the bloody awesome weapons for Lunars are. I can give Jac thrown charms, like I was going to give Arch, or I can give him an artifact weapon.

| Oh, alright. Thank you.
I might attempt to coerce my friend into specializing in Martial Arts.

| If he does that, his best options will be:
1. Taking Claws of the Silver Moon, wherein he summons giant claws made of solid moonlight and makes his enemies shit their pants (as if a circle of Lunars wouldn't do that already) 2. Taking the Serpent-Sting Staff, which is lone of these: youtube.com/watch?v=d6VHahHoRic only bigger. It already has the highest defensive stat in the game, and then you add the moonsilver bonus: +2 accuracy, +2 defense. Then you're practically untouchable. If you go on to take Snake Style, the form charm adds even more to your defense. And then... you don't get hit. You just don't.

| But then there's the Grand Solar Deathstick combos that will still hit, and they will hurt when they do.
If any one thing there is OP, it's the form charm for Snake Style.

| From what you told me, solars in general were a bit too... mighty.
Jac told me to tell you he's baby sitting at the moment.

| They wouldn't be, if they just made the rest of the Celestials similar in power, they wouldn't be.
But yeah, SOlars are insaaaaaaane, and that's why we're not playing them. And I don't care for their thematics much.
OK. I need to hit the rack soon, because I need to get up in the morning anyway.

| Hey, as Lunars we get to be... tribal looking people covered in tattoos and in very low degrees of clothing.
Then I guess we'll see you some other time.

| Have you seen some of the sourcebooks? You'd think everyone walked around practically naked in Exalted...
Actually, the stereotype of Lunars as barbarians is mostly due to the fact that they get pushed nearly into the Wyld almost as soon as they exalt, so the ones that survive are typically from areas farther from civilization. I think there might be a Lunar who's biding his time inside the Realm bureaucracy, actually. Not to mention that the Haslanti League and Halta are both secretly run by Lunars.
You'll want to be well-dressed to hide Tells.
Anyway, the real issue is that Solars are made to be Perfect, but the Great Curse drove them nuts. That says one thing to me: Mary Sue, come one, please? Then there's the Lunars, who are more sympathetic: Where the Solar achieves greatness by exercising perfect knowledge and training, the Lunar will be great by harnessing his inner potential, versatility, and ingenuity. Who needs training when you're smart enough to wing it?
Someone once said that if a Solar were thrown into a completely empty abyss, the Solar would take about a week to fill it entirely with all the knowledge of Creation. Throw a No Moon in the same pit, and the No Moon will have learned something new.

| That's what the source book atleast taught me about lunars. Apperantly all you need to wear is something that just barely covers your primary sexual characteristics.
I just said they looked rather tribal. As far as the source books told me.
That makes sense, I'd reason.
You know... that's actually an interesting saying. It can be applied to so much if you tweak the subjects.

| That they do, then. I just didn't want you to think that you had to wear loincloths just because we're playing Lunars, haha. | |

| At least to the description and backstory bits. I have a number of places I could go with your charm list, so I think I can get the sheet itself worked out pretty well. It's a matter of defining your character as a person now. | |
