supposedly it wasn't so bad originally(the first show involved kidnapping, and what must have been the pre-courser to nightmare moon and discording) but got worse over time.

my real problem with rarity is she never seems to learn anything. A great "oh what tangled webs we weave" episode ended with Rarity learning to appreciate her friends. not that lying is bad. to appreciate her friends. And the diamond dogs really do irritate me more than anything else. "THIIIS IS WHIIINING!" screw you rarity. screw you.

Each show depends on its demographic; since Dora's meant for 5 year olds, you should watch it for satire. Since MLP has a slightly older demographic, you should watch it to see the real-life applications and scenarios we've all had. Except rarity based episodes because seriously, fuck her with a pogostick.
