Glad to see you back! I was beginning to think we'd parted ways, there. I'd actually been thinking about you lately.

Oh, do not worry. I've mostly just been milling about, thinking of ideas for the RP and stuff like that. I really should tell people these things.

I went to Italy one a school trip, over spring break. We spent 90% of the time in Rome though, looking at things like San Angelo castle, St.Peter's Basilica and the Vatican city, the ancient roman forum, all that good stuff.

Shiny. I wish I could do something like that.

Oh, the basilica was very shiny! Highest dome in the world, you know.

So I hear. Domes are all the rage, it seems.

Well, back in the 1500s. The Vatican was much younger than I thought.

That's always good. I tried to start one, but nothing really happened, because nobody made sheets.

A civilization's maiden voyage into space, on a flying galleon. It would have been sort of an original Star Trek thing.

On a space galleon? Did it have solar sails!?

Sort of. They work by aether currents. Unfurl them, you go so fast. Put some power through them, they give you warp speed.

Could you even walk on the top deck!?

Yep. Air bubble.

Now I'm picturing something from Futurama.

Ever seen/played Spelljammer? It was a lot like that.
