| Lol, I almost edited your post too.
You could always do what Trin did and slap them around a little bit.

Or AW, you could start with a Nidoran, and catch a magikarp, they are in every body of water.

| Yes, but walking around with only a magikarp while everyone's picking out their favorite killing machine... The objective would be to get my rear handed to me repeatedly. | |

| Mine's not so much a killer, as I just think the lil' guys are "cute". Though yes, I understand. Maybe your magikarp was luck enough to have flail or tackle as an egg move? | |

| I'm now confused, I thought Numel were Hoenn. So, is there some cross over?
(Now wants an Arron)
On a side note. A character fromm Orre would be interesting. => "Pokemon in grass? What is with this place?"

| You all do know that, typically, a Nidoking won't survive the first hit from a Starmie. | |

| But he won't outspeed a Starmie. Unless he has a priority item. | |

| True. I don't remember using mine much in the water gyms. That's why I had my pikachu. But I was also so over-leveled that I could do pretty much whatever at that point. | |

| Now, if you had a Venasaur by then, then you certainly over trained. Being who I am, I always did it with pokemon weaker then her own! | |

| heh. I beat her with my pikatchu, once, and I once just overleveled nmy charzard... 0.o
Technically there were wild pokemon, but they were more realistic. they hid in places those kinds of pokemon would hide.
Can we have them know egg moves? please? I have a really good plan for my treecko... (based on what can actually happen).
maybe say "only 1 egg move"?

| Then I could have a Swablu with Dragon Rush, and I don't think anyone would find that fair.
...Would you? I mean, I could allow some, except for the obvious exceptions.

| I see no reason to object to egg moves, I suppose I'm just afraid that something bad may come of it. I know I would certainly be wary of a Dragon Rushing Swablu. | |

| I've narrowed it down to Yanma/Growlithe/Shinx/Gible/Deino(?)
...That's not very narrow, actually. Opinions?
